Hi, I’m Joy Konieczka. I’m a mindful certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, a registered yoga teacher & meditation teacher through My Vinyasa Practice, teach virtual group wellness classes (such as pilates, strength, mobility, yin yoga, and restorative yoga) & do private zoom sessions, as well.
I lead corporate wellness, yoga, & meditation classes and workshops focusing on the 7 dimensions of wellness.
I have a few weekly slots open for women’s in-home personal training, private gentle yoga, yin yoga, restorative yoga, & meditation, as long as all are vaccinated. I will always mask up & socially distance. Clients must use own equipment to limit contact. Issaquah & Sammamish areas only.
I’ve been in the fitness industry in the Seattle area since ‘92 & continue to evolve with the times with continuous education (always a student), continually thinking outside the box, & keeping a finger on what’s happening now in fitness & wellness.
There are 7 areas of wellness you should consider when it comes to living joyfully well: physical (your body), occupational (things that occupy your time), spiritual (your core values & beliefs), intellectual (your brain), emotional (your feelings), social (your relationships), and environmental (your surroundings). I believe if you are mindful of this, it helps to create balance in your life.
I am a firefighter wife, have an 14 year old son, and live in Sammamish, WA. My hobbies include hiking, spending time in nature, reading, reality tv (Survivor is still my favorite), DIYing, and spending time with friends and family.
