Joy Konieczka is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, teaches group fitness classes (such as cycle, barre, pilates, strength, mobility, gentle yoga, & low impact cardio “hiit”), and leads meditation & wellness workshops focusing on the 7 dimensions of wellness.

She had been in the fitness industry in the Seattle area since ‘92 & has continued to evolve with the times with continuous education (always a student), continually thinking outside the box, & keeping a finger on what’s coming next in fitness. Creativity and inclusive thinking have kept her in the fitness game and she’s not stopping anytime soon!

As we all go through these difficult times, Joy is shifting some of her business online since the gyms aren’t feasible in some areas due to COVID-19.

Happening now: Zoom Fitness Classes!

Mondays Mobility Flow 10am Pacific Time Zone, Tuesdays Pilates Zoom 9am, Wednesdays Define & Sculpt Zoom 10am, & Thursdays Barre Zoom at 9am. Each class is 30 minutes. Come on 5 minutes early to connect & set up. Classes are $10 (+tax). Sorry, USA residents only. You can contact me here to pre-register.

Remember, having joy is about creating balance in your life and nurturing your soul. It is a feeling and a state of mind.

When creating balance in your life, there are 7 areas of wellness you should focus on weekly: physical (your body), occupational (things that occupy your time), spiritual (your core values & beliefs), intellectual (your brain), emotional (your feelings), social (your relationships), and environmental (your surroundings). Seems hard to remember? Use the acronym POSIES + E.

As a joy advocate, I try to look at the big picture and give you suggestions to increase your joy, happiness, and overall well-being.

I am a firefighter wife, have an 13 year old son, and live in Sammamish, WA. My hobbies include hiking, yoga, spending time in nature, reading, reality tv (Survivor is still my favorite), creating new fitness programs, DIYing, and spending time with friends and family. I’m newly diagnosed with hip osteoarthritis, so learning all about that – and will be develop fit programming for that, as well.

Joy is working on more programs for you as you read this, but if you have any questions or would like more information on how I can help you, you can contact me at:
